' The "Daily Mail" states that the pigeon societies have, urged the passing ot legislation to compel, owners of wireless sets to place corks along their aerials to enable birds to avoid them. It is asserted that tens of thousands of pigeons have been killed or injured by striking unseen wires. It is estimated . that. there aye 700,000 pigeon-keepers in Britain.
