PERRY'S CIRCUS AND ZOO.
To-morrow will see the opening night of Perry's Circus and Zoo, in a location near the Tarauaki Street Wharf. The firm are now on their first tour of the Dominion, having just arrived from a sojourn in Australian capitals, where a complete new, company, of artists was engaged from the principal vaudeville theatres and continental circuses. The whole performance is entirely new to Wellington^ featuring many novel and sensational turns. The equestrian department contains highly-bred horses and ponies, whose training has reached perfection. It also includes Lone Star, tho champion high jumping pony, holder of the high jump records on 50 different Australian show grounds. Accompanying the circus is the menagerie, with its lions, lionesses, tigers, panthers, leopards, bears, jaguars, wolves, monkeys, and elephants. Perry's have, in addition. . one of the finest bands that has over travelled the Dominion with a similar class of entertainment. Comfortable seating'is provided.for 3000 people.
