ANOTHER DAVID
Princess Mary has decided to call her second son David, after his itncle, the Prince of Wales. The popular Prince was christened Edward, but in the Royal Family the name has been reserved for the memory of Edward VII., and none of his intimates ever call him '_' Edward '' or "Eddie." There is a popular impression that the Prince's pet name is " Eddie," and the fact is constantly mentionedin newspapers, but it is incorrect To his brothers and sister the Prince of Wales is " David." Humour tells that Princess Mary was in doubt as to the proper christening title for her small boy ahd finally called to the Prince for liX derision: The answering cablegram re-ul' " David." Princess Mary j s employing her spare tune at Goldsborough Hall on her poultry larm. blie developed the interest in poultry during the war, when eggs_ were difficult to come by, but the possibilities of successful poultry farm ing at Sandringham were small in comparison with those at her new Yorkshire home. The Goldsborough chicken runs are quite large, and are run on com mercial lines-for profit It is possible to be business-like and still remain a nrin cess. L
