Mr. E. Page, S.M., presided at the Magistrate s Court to-day. On a charge of failing to comply with a maintenance order in respect of his wife and children, James Murdoch Miller was sentenced to two mont.ns' .•imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended so long as £3 per week is paid. Failure ,to notify change of ownership of a motor-cycle cost William Lloyd White and Alexander C. Leckie £1 each. H. G. Rice, who failed to close his j?hop at 5.30 p.m., was ordered to pay 7s costs. * J
