A LEFT-HANDED BATSMAN

LONDON, 27th November. The Yorkshire Cricket Council has received a ruling from the Marylebone Cricket Club in connection with a case in which a left-handed. batsman, in playing a ballfrom the off, turned the bat round and hit it as a right-hander. Marylebone 'upheld the umpire, who gave the batsman out for obstruction and unfair play.
