Beautiful weather was experienced for people's day at the show, and there was a very large attendance.' the principal competitions resulted as follow :— New Zealand Leaping Championship —Miss D. Mowat's Spanker, 1: E. Brunton's Sunbeam, 2; Miss; D.' Mowat's Tahuna, 3. ' High. Jump—G. Roberta's Puzzle (B, Coutts), 6ft 3iiii, 1;E. J. Docherty's Happy Jack, 6ft 2£in, 2; Miss D. Muwa,t's Elaine, sft llin, 3. The height cleared by Puzzle is a record for the Olago Show. . ;■•-.■
