The Works Committee of the City Council hist evening recommended that steps should be taken to- have sub-sec-llOl\- Xi 8 &onf thfi 1 Corporations Act, 1920, authorising the makin» of bylaws fixing the building line of Harrow streets amended to giv c . the council power to provide: —
■ That no building be erected within 50 feet, or such less distance as the council shall prescribe, trom the middle line of any street.
That no building shall be erected on on o side of the street within ICO feet or such less distance as the council sli-li prescribe, from the other side of' the street.
