RIFLE SHOOTING

At Trentham on Saturday afternoon members of the Suburbs Defence Rifle Club will fire the fourth-match for the club championship and second series han dicap competition. Two separate shoot.will be held at 900 yards. As. the result of several complaints, the Trentham Rifle Range Committee has arranged for the long range targets to be repapered in time for Saturday's shoot.

Any local riflemen who are Wellington College old boys, and who wish to par ticipate in the match with the present boys on Monday next, are requested to hand their names to Rifleman R. E. Hester, of the Suburbs Club, not later than to-morrow afternoon.
