LONDON, 24ti» September. The Editor of "Truth 11 has received a long and interesting l&tipr on a question arising out of,a suggestion in his.paper about the chances of Australian officers who aspire to join the Indian Army or its Reserve of Officers.. .1 .
The letter refers, not to Australians but Now Zealanders. especially to thos'o trained at th,e A.B.M. College at Duntroon. According to tho information given, more young New Zealanders aretrained at Duntrooh than are needed to fill'vacancies in the Now Zealand Permanent Forces.' Some of these have been given commissions in the British Army or the Indian Army, and all have done extremely well.
