THE ROYAL SHOW
_ Now that the initiation of Royal Agricultural Shows in the Dominion is nn accomplished fact, it is daily becoming more apparent that that the first Royal, which takes place nt Palmerston North on 4th, sth, and 6th November, will be a success from the point of an exhibition of stock, which, of course, will be the principal attraction at this fixture. The catalogue shows that there are over two thousand entries, including a very fair proportion from the South Island, and the entry includes quite a number of animals which havo left their mark in the show rings in both islands. Tho Palmerston North Show Grounds aro. now replete for the accommodation of what will be the largest and best exhibition of stock ever held ill the Dominion, and these will bo exhibited under the most favourable cpiiditfcSTis, and will bo judged by acknowledged experts, including several who have adjudicated at the Sydney Royal and other shows in Australia. Prospective visitors are reminded that the Railway Department is issuing special cheap excursion fares from all parts to Palmerston North.
