CYCLING
TARANAKI ROAD RACE.
Sixty-seven cyclists have nominated for the circular road race round the mountain, to take place to-morrow. This number is within live of the record number, but as regards quality it is the best field that has ever nominated for this race, no fewer than sixteen of the competitors having less than 20 minutes handicap, as compared with five lust year.
