SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY.

The Wellington Girls' College annual concert for. seafarers was held in the Sailors' Friend Society's hall last evening. The girls, together with several expupils of the college, under the leadership of Miss M'Lean, provided first-class entertainment, of which a feature was an exhibition of cymbal drill. The performers were Misses Elsbeth Bath, E. Purdie, 11. Doherty, C. Neiison, M. Tolan, E: Brice, S. Lynneberg, E. Wilson, and-Z. Jupp. Mrs. Bath and Misses Wilson and Lynneberg were at the piano. : The prizes came from the Picton Navy League, Ladies' Branch, and went lo'tlie men in port. It was aiinounced'by the missioner that matters ■■•o.re well in hand fur Monday's picnic.
