Hay fever, which claims a good many victims, is treated with characteristic .thoroughness in the United States. Half a century ago a Hay Fever Society was formed by a. company of habitual sufferers from the distressing malady, and set to work to discover means to combat it. Uno result. of the society's efforts has been the discovery. that certain parts of the States, are almost free from the infection and thither hay, fever subjects are recommended to retire during the 'dangerous period.
