APPLICATIONS POURING- IN.

Right from the first, the Mammoth Sports Art Union has caught on. The magnitude of the prizes-i£4ooo in pure alluvial gold—has fired the imagination of the public. The worthiness of the. enterprise has appealed to all Jovers of healthy out-door games. It is a .Mammoth Art Union in every sense, held for a _ good purpose, and applications for tickets are pouring in from ' all-parts of the Dominion. Another attractive feature is that there ,is no long, anxious waiting .for the prizes. The Art Union closes on 29th November, and the prizes will be : drawn on December 22nd. There is every indication that the full issue of tickets will be taken up at an early date, and, since the number is limited, intending subscribers should get their tickets - with as little delay as possible, and avoid being disappointed. The first prize is alluvial gold, guaranteed value £1000, 2nd prize, alluvial gold, value £500, and 184; other prizes, ranging in value from to £5, making the total value of the' prizes £4COO. Tickets, 2s 6d each, obtainable all retailers ; or direct from the Wholesale Distributor, J. T. Watsor,, 102, Willis' street, Wellington; or the Secretary, Mammoth Sports Art Union, Dunedin. .
