LABOUR DAY TRAINS
A correspondent, "Walk Home," suggests that if a late train to Paekakariki were run on the evening of Labour. Day, as is done on Saturday evenings, it would bo well patronised, and the people would bo able to comply_ with ' Mr. Coates's request to use fheir own trains. Failing this a suburban train to Johnsonville would be much appreciated. There are several big fixtures set down for the evening m Wellington, but suburban residents on the Manawatu line will not be able to; take part in these unless there is a late train.'
