FEARS FOR HER SAFETY.
(UNITED 'PRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPIRIQHTO (AUSTRALIAN-NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received 21st October, 10 a.-in ) MELBOURNE, This Day. No news has yet been heard of the scow Cathkit, which is now 45 days out from Hobart for Melbourne. Anxiety is felt concerning the , safety o f the scow, as strong .northerly winds have -prevailed since she left Hobart. - The Cathkit was last reported to be sheltering on the Tasmanian coast on 21st September. It is thought possible that she may be. still in some bay, s but in view of the fair weather during the last few days this view is becoming less.likely.
