ACCORDING TO SIDNEY WEBB;
LONDON", 20th October. Mr. Sidney Webb, President-of the Board of Trade, appealing to his constituents, asked them, as it was Sunday, to. consider'calmly the solemn issues. He said the election would end the Liberal Party, whos"e work was finished by that great measure, the t Franchise Act of 1918. The Liberals/were already ranging themselves either with the Conservatives or with Labour.
