LICENSING LAWS

The Parliamentary Licensing Committee's report will receive attention at'the public meeting to be held in connection with the New Zealand Alliance, Wellington Area, Convention, at 7.30 oil Tuesday evening, in the Vivian Street Baptist Church. Mr. E. P. Hay will take the chair, the Hon. J. ]J. Gi»r, M.L.C., will speak on "Shall the People Rule?" Miss SI. SJ'Lean is announced to deal with "Young Womanhood—An Appeal." and the Rev. F. E. Harry, president of the Wellington Area Council will , also speak on the subject of t.K- proposed licensing legislation. Admission is free.
