MORTGAGES EXTENSION BILL
When it was reported to the House of Representatives yesterday-that the-Leg-is-lative Council had passed the Mortgages Extension Bill, the Leader of the Opposition (Mr. T. M. -Wilford) asked the Prime Minister whether he proposed' to set up a committee to consider the alterations which had been made to the measure by the Upper House.
