SALVAGE VESSEL TO THE RESCUE.

(REUTERS TELEGRAM.) \ LONDON. 30th September. A salvage steamer is being dispatched from Pei'im to assist the Trecarrel. which is aground a.^ mile and a half off shore near Cape Guardafui, in the Gulf of Aden.
An attempt was made to refloat this ship after 140 tonß of ea rg g had b sc n jettisoned, but it failed.
