LIQUOR AT ARTISTS' BALL

SYDNEY, This Day. The Hon. C. W. Oakcs, Colonial Secretary and Minister of Health, has announced tliat there will be no prosecutions arising out of the use of liquor at the artists'hall, but the inatter'of framing of new regulations giving the police authorities wider powers is being considered seriously, and will be brought before Cabinet.
