The .preliminaries in connection with the German loan, undertaken in conjunction by the Bank of England and the leading American bankers, are so advanced that the loan will probably be floated simultaneously all over the world in a few weeks. The American share is fixed at a hundred million dollars. The remainder will be issued in European countries in sterling. The apportionment of the various. countries has not yet been decided. The British quota will probably be in the region of 10 to Id millions sterling.
