UNSETTLED AND CLOUDY
Dull and mild weather has been experienced in most parts of the country wnce yesterday, with further scattered rainfall especially in the northern portions of the North Island and in the West Coast of the South Island. The barometer has fallen slowly, and fresh emng northerly winds have predominates /■?? D"'e^ tor of the Meteorological Office (Mr. D. C. Bates) states that these are likely to increase strong to gale particularly jn and south of Cook Strait, for tlie development of a westerly low pressure area which, at the present time, is only of moderate intensity. Unsettled and cloudy weather is forecasted, with further warm and humid conditions and rain following generally. The barometer v likely to fall everywhere. .
