IN NEW SOUTH WALES LABOUR
LEADER.
(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPIRIQBT.) (Received Ist October, 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The Labour caucus carried a vote of complete confidence in Mr. Lang.
Mr. Lang, Parliamentary Leader of the New South Wafes Labour Party, was taken to task at a Labour caucus for having launched his censure motion against the Government without first consulting or conliding in the party. A prominent member stated afterwards that Mr. Lang would not be judged by the party, but by the speech he delivered in the House. If in the opinion of the majority of the members of the caucus ho was proved to have failed to put forward substantial charges against the Government and evidence in support, steps would bo taken immediately to seek a new leader.
The motion moved by Mr. Lan" attacked the New South "Wales Government in connection with certain conInicls. It wus deft-tiled by 50 votes U> 35.
