SHORTT'S THEATRE.
"The Unfoldment," the feature shown yesterday at Shortt's Theatre and remaining throughout the week, is a wonderful story of the transformation which takes place in the life of a newspaper owner and his unscrupulous gang. The change is brought about entirely by the persistency, faith, and clever manoeuvring and persevering efforts of a young girl who is steadfast in her belief in truth and goodness. The second production features William Desmond in '■Shadows of the North," a thrilling tale in which Virginia Faire plays the feminine lead. The remaining pictures on the programme. Nare excellent.
