CRICKET
HUTT V. WAIRARAPA
A cricket match was played to-day on the Hutt Recreation Ground between a team representing Wairarapa and the local Hutt Club. Wairarapa batted first and mnde 77 for their first venture. The top scorer was Whitburn, 30, while the most successful bowler was Nunn, who took five wickets for 8 rune. Following are tho details of scores :— WAIRARAPA—First Innings. R. At the luncheon adjournment Hutt had lost two wickets for 27 (Hcbbs 1, King, b Trapp 4, M'Kay, not out 21. Nunn, not out, 0/extras 1). J n. the junior match Wairarapa made 116 m their first innings (Crawford- 39, Capps 7, Sutton 13, L. Smith 2, College 50, Suckling 22, Gardiner 1 Wilson 1, Miller, not out, 2, M'Gregor 0 Stewart 0, extras 9). Styles performed tho hat trick with the last three wickets.
