CANDIDATE ATTACKED
(AUSTIUUAN-NBW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received 27th October, 2 p.m.) LONDON, 261h October. Supporters of the Communist candidate for Greenock attacked Mr. Kelly, the Labour candidate, wrecked the platform, and kicked and struck Mr. Kelly until he collapsed. The police escorted him to his home.
