FROZEN MEAT PRICES,
Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report lirvluc received the following cabli gram from their London house, under date of the 25th Septembor :— , "kamb.—New Zealand prime crossbred lamb, Canterbury heavy njd, light J2Jd; North Island, heavy njd, light UJd. Moderate demand for New Zealand lamb; market is steady. Mutton: New Zealand prime crossbred mutton, Canterbury heaw 71d, light SJd; North Island heavy 7Jd, light BJd. Demand for New Zealand muttou runs principally on light weights. Market is dull Australian I'rozeu Meat: Good average quality crossbred lamb, light Hid. Australian mutton not quoted. There is a fair demand for Australian lamb."
Messrs. Joseph Nathan and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their London house, dated the 24th September;— "Danish butter is quoted at 2405, New Zealand butter 2205. New Zealand cheese 95s per cwt, landed terms. New Zealand coloured cheese 93s per cwt, lauded terms, with a better tendency, Canadian cheese is quoted at 93s c.i.f." '
Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report hai» ing. received the following cablegram from their London house, under date of the 21th September:—"Butter.—Since our last report prices are 2s per cwt hifiher." '
