J. C. WILLIAMSON'S ENTERTAINERS.

The "Williamson management announce the appearance at the Grand Opera House to-morrow evening, of the first of their entertainers companies selected by their agents from all parts of the world. This new policy of the firm in playing the best the vaudeville world, can offer, has in Australia proved a' wonderful success, and the companies will^ all be seen in the Dominion following on the Melbourne and Sydney seasons. The policy is a complete new company every five or six weeks. The first organisation is headed by the famous English character impersonator, Bransby Williams, described as the "man of many faces." This clever actor has^ been a top-liner at all tiie principal vaudeville theatres in the world with his renowned impersonations of such well-known- Dickens characters as "Micawber," "Dan'l Peggoty," "Grandpapa Smallweed,"; "David Copperfield." Bransby -Williams has the honour of more Royal Command nights than any actor on the English stage. The company supporting this star is headed by the Hadje Kadir Arabs, a troupe of seven acrobats described as the "whirling wonders of the desert in extraordinary gyrations." Also included in the bill are the brilliant French comedy duo, Anna and Louis, who present an act billed as "a musical rmx-up." The character dame arid the girl aptly describes Arthur Lucan and M'Shane, whoappear in- a riotous scene, "Come Over." Direct from Belgium are Solange Landry and JulJs, modern dancers, who present ■ a bright routine of Parisian dances. • An Eng-" lish turn of musical comedy is providedby Ward and Long. W. V. Robinson is a raconteur of originality, and George Castles and Torzillo finish up the big bill with an act the "Harpist and Melody Supreme." A - specially mi ported orchestra is under the baton of Harry Jacobs. The whole show will be mounted' and staged in the usual J. C. Williamson manner. ■ The box plans are at The Bristol.
