Thomas presided at1 a conference at Bloemfontein of the visiting delegates of the Empire Parliamentary Association with their colleagues of the South African. Parliament. The conference unanimously adopted the principle i of Parliamentary delegations visiting dif-. ferent countries of 'the Empire at least once every two years. Mr. Thomas's and Viscount Burnham's proposal that the next meeting bo in London in 1925 was received with enthusiasm. There are expected to be several further conferences during: the remainder of1 the tour. ;
