SECOND TEST ON SATURDAY.
• Considerable interest is being shown by the general public in' the second Test match between China and New Zealand, to be played at the Basin Reserve on ' Saturday. Keen judges of Soccer, who .;. witnessed the first Test in- Auckland last - Saturday, declare that if the weather is ■ fine, and the turf in good order, the ; game should prove one of the finest ex- > positions of the Soccer code ever staged : in New Zealand. The Chinese visitors ■ have undoubtedly improved considerably since they last . played in .Wellington. They also understand each other's play thoroughly, and have adopted more ro- " bust methods. Their best players were not played in the match at Hamilton yesterday, but were given a rest in view of Saturday's match. ■ Prior to the Test match, which com- . niences at 3 p.m., a curtain-raiser will be played between ' Marist and V.M.C.A. ' If Marist win on Saturday they still have - a^ chance of the championship, therefore, this game alone, which starts .at 1.30' p.m., will be of more than ordinary interest In fact, there will be a feast of football on Saturday.
