■•■ '. ■•■ HAMILTON,. This Day. - In the Supreme Court Alfred Jones claimed £2000 from John Russell and his young son, Michael Russell, for injuries received as the .result of a motor accident. Evidence was :' given that plaintiff was being driven in a motorcar when Russell, jun., driving a- car belonging to his father, crashed into the first car. As the result nlaintiff suffered the total loss of his right hand and the partial iise of his right.'arm. . Thejury returned a verdict that the boy was guilty of negligence, and was acting in the/capacity of servant or agent of the father; that the father was guilty of negligence by allowing his son to use it and cause the injury. Plaintiff was awarded £864 general damages and £100 . special damages.
