PUBLICATION OF INDECENT MATTER
The introduction of legislation this session to prohibit the publication of any indecent matter, or medical;. surgical, and physiological'details,.: arising out of judicial proceedings, which would- be calculated-to injure, public morals';--was suggested to the Minister of- Justice in the House of Representatives by Mr P Fraser (Wellington Central). The Hon C.. J. Parr replied yesterday that the Government- recognises the importance ot the question and ■ will give it 'early consideration. Any restriction of publication of judicial proceedings, he said, must be carefully limited. .' .' ' ' :
