!NEW YORK, 19th August. • The United, States Commissioner Hitchcock has postponed until 20th September the hearing of perjury charges made against Luis Firpo, the boxer by Canon Chase, of the Civic- League. 'The action will not now interefere with Firpo s fight with Wills, which is scheduled for 11th September. „.Cfn on Chase did not oppose the pueil:st s request for an adjournment, saylug he did not desire to interfere with firpo s meeting with Wills. "Our only interest in the prosecution of Firpo is to keep the country clean,' and- to keen undesirables out. The woman was deported; Krpo is no exception, and should also be deported." ■ ■■ Firpo was released on bail of 2000 dollars.
