STRAND THEATRE.
Betty Balfouv, the British screen comedienne, in "Love, Life, and Laughter," and Seena Owen in "Sisters," are being finally screened at the' Strand tonight. Commencing to-morrow an absolving Master Picture, "Don't Marry tor Money," will be screened. It sounds a warning, as its title would indicate^ to: the credulous and • the unworldly who' are innocent and unsophisticated enough to believe that the possession of wealth is a panacea for the cure of all the ills that flesh is heir to. A poor girl marries 'a man ' for his money. He gives " her gifts beyond tho di-eams of,avarice. Enmeshed in a social scandal through her' reckless disregard of her husband, she realises his sterling worth, 'and realises it is really he, not his money, she loves. How she wins him back with the world against her makes an interesting picture. In addition there will, be the usual well-balanced programme, including comedy, scenic, and the latest eazettes. . • b.
