QUEEN'S THEATRE.

Sensation follows ' sensation in rapid succession in. "Desire,"', which will be screened finally to-day at the Queen's Theatre. The theme of the story is., away, from the ordinary. ' An1 atmospheric frame for one o£ the'l important scenes in the WUliam de Alille Paramount production of "Icebound" 'is formed by .a French background. It .is here that Ben Jordan (Richard Dix), the American soldier, gets his. first taste of the joys of family, life, of the laughter of children, the, kindness of a. mother, and the fascination of a. pretty-girl's, smiles and dancing eyes'. Lois Wilson has the leading feminine role. 'Richard Dix is the soldier, and Vera. Reynolds has the part of the other girl.' , The picture opens to-morrow at the Queen's Theatre. The second part—and concluding one-^of the great travel picture "Around the World in the Speejacks" will be screened. It is the honeymoon tour of Mr. Albert Y. Gowen and his wifo, of Cleveland, in their 98-foot motor launch, a' tour which provided them with many thrilling adventures and delightful -experiences. In the first, part was shown their adventures as far as New Guinea, where they were left in the company of cannibal bird of paradise hunters. The concluding part shows their experiences "in the hands of these cannibals, then .on through the Suez Canal, across the Atlantic to New York. :An excellent' supporting programme will be .screened, while the music by the Queen's Grand Orchestra, under the direction of Mr. A.
