Pharus, the Egyptian, continues f 0 make his claim about the healing of all bodily pains, and demonstrates his system nightly to large audiences at the Paramount Theatre. Yesterday afternoon Pharus gave a ladies' special matinee, ami before a very largo audience delivered an interesting lecture on women s ailments. Four cases of rheumatism were treated on the stage. Last night Pharus lectured on ear troubles and deafness, and demonstrated how to cure most ailments of this nature by his system. Of the four cases taken for treatment one had suffered from deafness for 40 years, and the other three 20, 15, and 10' years respectively. After treatment Fharus spoke to all the patients in an ordinary conversational voice, and they all appeared to hear him quite distinctly. -Ihe man who had suffered for 40 years was taken behind the stage for special treatment. Sufferers desirous' to be treated by Pharus may do so by mating application at the theatre between the hours, of 10 a.m. and noon, when a nurse is m attendance.
