KING'S THEATRE.

The fact that Rex Beach wrote the world-famed novel "Flowing Gold" should be sufficient for those who want a strong story. The setting is gripping and elemental. The struggles of tho pioneers who built up a mighty nation, the elevation of a family to riches and splendour, and the final' shattering calamity when the fiend robs them of the source of their riches are vividly shown Anna Q. Nilsson and Milton Sills head the cast. The supporting programme includes a comedy., the latest Tatho Gazette, and a delightful musical programme by the King's Select Orchestra. The last two nights are announced. "Vanity Fair" has been hailed by generations of readers as the most fascinating work of fiction in all English literature. Now the famous characters step forth from the pages of Thackeray's romantic novel with their loves and intrigues, their weaknesses and their virtues, to take part in Hugo Ballhrs memorable picturisation of an absorbing story. Picture-goers will be thrilled by the lavishly beautiful pictures of this gay and _ adventurous period, by scenes of dazzling splendour, by tho society beauties and the courageous soldiers who pass in splendour, living every moment fully, whether the music sounds tho invitation to the \valtz or the bugle calls to battle. "Vanity Fair" is one of the year's biggest productions and boasts :i cast of world-famed players. Mabel Balliu, wife of the producer, is starred in the role of Becky Sharp, Hobart Bosworth is the Marquis of Styne. Harrison Ford is cast as George" Osborno, and George Walsh as Rawdon Crawley, A big .supporting programme will in addition be presented, including a special musical programme by the King's select orchestra. A' monster matinee will be held on Saturday at 2.30. Seats may now be booked at The Bristol, or after 5.30 at the theatre.
