EMPRESS THEATRE.
Martha Mansfield, Mack Sennett bathing girl, Ziegfeld Follies' favourite, and dramatic star, does some of the finest work of lier career iv "Le Moulin Rouge," a Master picture now showing •ai the Empress Theatre. She has the role of a dancer at the famous Parisian cabaret, the Red Mill,, and incidentally tne interior scenes, in which Miss Mansfield and a gorgeous ballet do some wonderful dancing, are on a very lavish stale, in true carnival fashion. Apart from her dancing, the dainty little star js a powerful actress. Also showing is a Gazette featuring the actual fall of the Prince when he recently broke hie collarbone; football news, and other items of interest, and a Christie comedy, while the orchestra, under Mr. M. Dixon, plays some tuneful selections and", accompaniments.
