(BI TELEGRAPH PRESS iASSOCIATIOS.) ASHBURTON, 21st June. The weather was fine and the ti'ack heavy for the concluding day of the Ashburtou Steeplechase Meeting. The attendance Was large, aiid the totalisator handled £10,845, as against £15,----348 for eight races on the corresponding day last year, making a total for the meeting 0f'£20,916. Results:— Second Hurdles, of 160 soys; one mile and a half.—Royal Star, 10.11, 1; Likelihood, 11.2, 2; Agnola, 9.0, 3. Also started: 'Frisco Mail 10.12, Bellrock 10.2, Fort Regal 9.9, Pomposa 9.0, Flying Master 9.0. "Won by a head; ten lengths between second and third. Time, 2min 54sec. Winchmore Hack, of 120 soys; seven furlongs.—Markie,, 9.9, 1; Thorndale, 9.10, 2; Adopted, 10.5, 3. Also started : Warseer 9.12, Courcelette 9.6, Sunny Mac 9.6, Clarion 9.5, Sir "Walter 9.3.
