Difficulty has always been experienced in providing- referees for tho largo num- .' ber of {rames which take place under the jurisdiction of tiie Wellington Football Association, and, with a view to increasing the membership of the locai Referees* Association, ex-players, club officials, coaches, players, and all interested in the game are invited to attend a lecture in the V.M.C.A. to-morrow evening. Messrs. C. W. Price and Co., 78, Lambton quay, will sell furniture and Wizard lighting plant in tho mart, -to-mor-row, commencing; at 1.30 p.m. Messrs. Williams and Co.. Ltd., will soli pianos and household s'urniture at the Auction Arcade, Courtenay place, tomorrow, at 2 p.m. "
