ADELAIDE, This Day.

The Premier of South Australia, Mr. Gann, in the course of a statement, said that one of the first measures to be introduced by the Government would be for constitutional reform. Parliament, he said, would have to bo democratised to give effect to tho will of the people. The Government would endeavour to pass a Bill' for prooortional representation, and also one reducing the Assembly from forty-six members to thirty-five.

The present South Australian Government came into office after the election held m April, when the Labour Party secured 25 seats in the Legislative Assembly.
