SYDNEY, 16th June. The'hearing of the claim of the owners and crew of the Sydney tug Champion against the owners of the Honolulu Maru, for £10,000 has been commenced It was stated in evidence that the value of the Japanese steamer was £87,000 and the owners of the tug Champion claimed 10 per cent, of this value. The question for the Court to decide is the amount of salvage to be paid, as the salvage of the vessel is not disputed.
