. PALMERSTON N., This Day. In the Police Court, Mabel Maud Thornburn pleaded guilty to using premises as m common gaming house. The police stated that accused had been acting as a bookmaker's agent, taking three to twelve pounds daily in racing bets. She was fined £25 and costs. '
