BIG BOUTS IN U.S.A.

PROPOSED WILLS-FIRPO MATCH.

(AUSTRALIAN-NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.)

(Received 16th June, 8 a.m.)

BUENOS AIRES; 15th June. Negotiations for a Wills-Firpo match have been resumed between Luis Firpo and Juan Horns, Mr. Rickard's agent, on the basis of a new offer by Mr. Rickard which considerably reduces the original offer of 250,000 dollars. Mr. RicSard lowered the sum because of the failure of Wills to knock out Madden The new terms have not been disclosed, but it is understood that the large reduction of the guarantee is balanced by the offer of a Liberal percentage of the gate receipts. _ Firpo has requested time to finish a cinema production, and does not want to leave for the United States before 17th July.
