\yiENNA, 3rd June. The Chancellor's condition is '•unchanged. Jarowek is reported to have made a confession, in which he says he repeatedly had heard that the Chancellor was responsible for the. misery of oreat masses of the people, and lie, • therefore long_ ago resolved to remove him.' He denies that he had any accomplices. He admits that he belongs :to thev Social Pemocrat organisation; but says he has long- abandoned political activities. ' _ Herr Bauer, the leader of the Social Democrats, in a speech, strongly condemned the attack, as does the whole Vienna Press.
