The Syndicalist Union passed a resolution to end the strike of affiliated unions at midnight on Wednesday, in view of the public assurance that arrested strikers will be released. The decision of -men to return to work gives the Government an opportunity to fulfil the promise' that the pension 'law, under which a portion.of their wages were turned over to the Government,, will be satisfactorily amended. ■ „ .
