Zealand Pavilion arrived at Wembley, and transport is to go on continuously until the work' is complete:" The/s.s. Middlesex and s.s. Mahia, which brought the first consignments, have been discharging "during" the past .week, and the ; first material to reach its -destination will be ; that;, for the Samoan hut,'and the timber' exhibits: .' •- y '■■'- -.-.'' The Port Kembla has also arrived with further' material, and the Ruapehu -with th^ balance' is due to arrive about . the middle of this month. If no unforeseen circumstance arises to delay the unloading a.nd transportation, all "the exhibits" should be 'oil' the floor of. the' Pavilion'before the end of March, arid thus the Commissioner and'his staff will have a fair amount of time to get everything into proper order before the opening date./ . ..' . It is felt that all-sections of- the. Empire, can supply material for a: variety of interesting subjects for papers, and that •New Zealand, in particular- couldiinte r est people at' Home in such matters as child welfare,: and public, health.': As; Mrs. ' Ogilvio-Gordon remarked at a meeting held.at Lady Allen's fiat, New. Zealand must have rmich to tell the women of Great Britain, for a great deal remains to be done here in those two directions, and it would be rousing'and: stimulating- for these subjects, at any rate, to be touched upon at Wembley. It was_ suggested that during the conference, to last an hour and a half, to take-place in the morning, a short paper on child welfare.should be read by Mrs. Parkes, to whom a cahle message was sent, asking if she would' do this; a talk of Maori legends, it 'was thought, would be interesting to -many of the delegates from other parts of the Empire, and.it was proposed to. ask Mrs.-' Staples-Brown if slie would consent to speak on this,'subject. Mrs. 'Remfry (nee Miss Constance Holmes, formerly of the Wairarapa, who is a: well-kno\yn political speaker throughout the Mother Country),,, will; probably give a short address on the influence of, women in the Political life of the Dominion. Tho Isew Zealand system of education, too, will be specially dealt with. "' .
