Mr. H. K. Searle, chairman of the outgoing committee, presided over the meeting- of- householders at Hataitai. The ' annual report and balance-sheet (particu- . lars of which have already appeared in "Tlie Post") were read and adopted. On account of the divergence' of opinion on the boundary question, no committee was elected, householders-refusing to accept nomination. Votes of thanks to the chairman and the staff, concluded the meeting. ' . ... -' I
