WADESTOWN.
The annual report of the School Committee presented at the meeting of Wades;town householders last night stated that the school had "done very satisfactory work during the year, the Sixth Standard pupils especially acquitting themselves welL One pupils gained one ot the four Junior National Scholarships won.in Wellington.. It was regrettedithat more parents did not send their children to the local school, as slightly larger at-, tendance would result in ah extra assist^ ant being engaged. A successful queen carnival during the year provided a considerable sum for the improvement of school grounds, and this; had been carried out. ■:< The report was adopted. Last year's committee1 was re-elected.
